A paratrooper fighting in Gaza found a bag in an Arab house in Khan Younis that was a souvenir from the kinus for mechanchim held in Gush Katif in 5758, over 25 years ago.

A paratrooper fighting in Khan Younis found an interesting item in an Arab home there: a kinus bag from a conference for mechanchim that was held over 25 years earlier in a hotel in Gush Katif.

The paratrooper is the nephew of Rabbi Yigal Kirshenzaft, who was the shliach in Gush Katif at the time, and brought the bag to his uncle.

The bag was a souvenir from the kinus mechanchim that took place on Yud Aleph Av 5758. Rabbi Kirshenzaft was present at the event as the shliach of the local area. Pictured, is Rabbi Kirshenzaft holding the bag that his nephew brought him back from Gaza.
