Ahead of a massive planned rally in Washington D.C. for Eretz Yisroel, the Crown Heights Beis Din issued a letter informing the community about the event and stressing its importance.

Below is the text of the letter, signed by Harav Avrohom Osdoba and Harav Yosef Braun:

National Jewish organizations are calling on Jews throughout the United States to travel to Washington, DC, on Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh Kislev (Nov. 14) for a mass rally of Americans Marching to Support Eretz Yisroel, Free Hostages and Against Antisemitism, organized by two major Jewish organizations (the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations).

Considering the current precarious situation of our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel, as well the strong hostility from some circles to the continued support of the United States government for the Jewish People, we believe it is important to inform the community about this important rally.

There’s no doubt that a large turnout at this event will have a strong impact.

This rally is being worked on by multiple parties who naturally have diverse views in a broad range of issues, but they are all standing united for the cause, as Americans who are in full support of these goals. While we have not received the complete outline of the program, assurances have been made to us that there will be a general commitment to halachic standards, including but not limited to respecting our sense of modesty. We hope to receive more information in the coming days.

In addition to the ongoing tefillos and ma’asim tovim, this is an important keli b’derech hateva to bring about the proper yeshuah. May we merit to usher in the ultimate yeshuah, the true Geulah now.
