At the recent address of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to US Congress, Alaska senators were presented with the new book “Make Peace” by Alaska head shliach Rabbi Yosef Greenberg.

Rabbi Greenberg was invited by Senator Dan Sullivan as his personal guest to join him for Israel prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speech in Congress.

Before the PM speech, Rabbi Greenberg met with Alaska US Senators Dan Sullivan and Lisa Makowski. During their meeting, he presented them with the new book “Make Peace,” encapsulating the Rebbe’s approach that the only way to enduring peace and true harmony is by standing firm against all pressures.

Rabbi Greenberg shared with the senators how he had presented the same book to Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel Katz during his visit at the holy resting place of the Rebbe on Gimmel Tammuz two weeks ago, and how the minister noted that if Israeli leaders had listened to the Rebbe’s voice, they would not have reached the tragic situation of October 7.

Senator Sullivan, who attended and spoke at the recent Gimmel Tammuz event in Alaska, shared how moved he was by the statement of the keynote speaker, renowned professor Alan Dershowitz that “the Rebbe foresaw it all.”

Both senators received a detailed briefing from Rabbi Greenberg on the Rebbe’s approach how to achieve peace in the Middle East and promised to find time to read the book and learn more about the Rebbe’s views on this important topic.
