The Lubavitch daily Gemara program, Amud Yomi Chabad, has taken another step forward with the imminent launch of its new beautiful, easy-to-use website.
This development was undertaken in honor of the commemoration of the 100th year since the calling of the Frierdiker Rebbe by the Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen in the year 5683 that Chassidim should study each day an amud of Gemara. A request which was subsequently inscribed in Sefer Haminhagim by our Rebbe to be the Minhag of Chasidim.
This significant milestone also coincides with the onset of Mestechta Pesochim, scheduled to begin this Thursday, the 21st of Kislev.
Amud Yomi Chabad is an organization established in the summer of 5780 to promote and facilitate the Minhag of Amud Yomi by providing:
· Daily live and recorded Shiurim by Rabbi Mendel Potash in English at 20:20 UK time and Rabbi Dan Naftalin in Hebrew at 15:30 Israel time.
· Weekly study companions
· Study calendars
· Help in organizing local Shiurim.
· The Amud Yomi Chabad study schedule can also be followed through the Steinsaltz daily study app.
Boruch Hashem, the program has seen great success since its inception and has been enthusiastically endorsed by leading Rabbonim and Mashpiim.
