American and English-speaking bochurim who are learning in 770 gathered on Motzei Shabbos Toldos for a Hakhel melave malka and farbrengen.
Held in Kollel Menachem across from 770, the melave malka was arranged by a number of bochurim in honor of Shnas Hakhel.
Addressing the farbrengen was guest speaker Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Gurary, mashpia at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Montreal, and Rabbi Yisroel Noach Raichik, maishiv in 770. Hatomim Mendel Gerlitzky spoke about Ois Bsefer Torah.
A special teshura containing a collection of the Rebbe’s English letters on the subject of Hakhel was distributed to all participants. Included in the booklet were several never-before-published English letters from the Rebbe Responsa collection.
