The annual Yeshivas Kayitz “Oholei Levi Yitzchok,” which takes place near the tziyun in Almaty, kicked off this week.
Established by philanthropists R’ Avi Shaulson and R’ Shmuel Stern, longtime supporters of Chabad Kazakhstan, the yeshiva bring together bochurim from Moscow and Eretz Yisroel to Almaty. There, they learn, daven, and farbreng on the days before and after Chof Av, and of course on the yahrzeit itself.
Immediately upon arriving, the bochurim threw themselves into their studies. They also posed for a group photo together with the local shluchim, while singing the famed Hakafos Nigun of Reb Levi Yitzchok.
