80,000 Booklets to Mark 80th Year of Rebbe’s Haggadah

Readers of frum magazines as well as Thousands of shuls in USA and Israel will receive a new publication of the Rebbe’s insights on the Haggadah.

Exactly eighty years ago, a small booklet was published, one that would reshape the landscape of Haggadah scholarship until this day.

That modest work was Haggadah Shel Pesach Im Likkutei Ta’amim Uminhagim, later known simply as “the Rebbe’s Haggadah.”

Written in an exceptionally concise style, its language is precise and layered, carrying deep and nuanced insights into both the plain meaning of the Haggadah and the broader sugyos of Pesach. Over the years, numerous sefarim by rabbanim and roshei yeshiva have sought to analyze, expand, and illuminate the depth of its teachings.

Yet despite its profound scholarship and its groundbreaking approach to the Haggadah text, many remain unfamiliar with this remarkable work and the wealth it contains.

Now, marking eighty years since its original publication, a new publication aims to bring its teachings to a far wider audience.

The new booklet, Vihigadeta, published by Or Hachasidus in 80,000 copies, presents select insights from the Rebbe’s Haggadah in a clear, accessible format.

“The Rebbe’s Haggadah contains a vast treasury of explanations, offering a deeply analytical approach to the text,” says Rabbi Avraham Man, director of Or Hachasidus. “This booklet presents those insights in an accessible form for the frum public, with the hope that it will serve as a gateway to exploring the full depth of the Rebbe’s Haggadah.”

The booklet will be distributed to Thousands of shuls across the United States, Israel, and beyond, where it will be read in shul and taken home to the Pesach Seder, allowing families to share its insights together.

In addition, a special edition will be included in Yom Tov issues of widely read frum magazines. With magazine readership reaching record highs during Yomim Tovim, this inclusion will bring the booklet to tens of thousands of additional readers around the world.

“We are confident that the publication of this booklet, along with our other materials, will deepen the study of Chassidus, bring much nachas to the Rebbe, and bring us closer to the ultimate goal: the coming of Moshiach, speedily,” Rabbi Man said.
