As the month of Tishrei quickly approaches, the gabboim of 770 Eastern Parkway have made a dramatic announcement regarding the future of Tishrei Seats.

In a letter released Thursday, Congregation Lubavitch at 770 Eastern Parkway says that due to rising expenses, they will no longer offer any discounts on seats for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Going forward, everyone will be required to pay full price.

I am contacting you regarding buying places for the Yomim Noroim 5784.

Since the expenses at “770” are increasing year by year and we are not managing to cover the budget of the shul, we would therefore like to make it clear that starting this year, we will not be able to continue the discount you have received in the past years. If you want to continue buying your seat/s, you must pay the full price.

Therefore, if you are unable and or unwilling to buy the seat/s please inform us as soon as possible at [email protected] so that we can sell the seat to someone else for the full price.

If you wish you may transfer your right to the seat to one of your associates. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation

Sincerely,

In the name of the gabboim

Aaron Yosef Vogel
