Every year, Naomi Raksin — a successful, sought-after magazine writer — would eye the ads announcing CopyTribe. But she wouldn’t sign up.

“I’m a writer, but I wasn’t sure I’d like copywriting. I thought it would restrict my creative freedom,” Naomi explains.

In 2023, Naomi finally decided to give it a try — and she is so grateful. “CopyTribe changed the trajectory of my career,” she says. “Now I know how to write copy and run a successful copywriting business. My eyes have been opened to this diverse, expansive field.”

Like Naomi, 549 other copywriters & marketers have experienced a similar transformation through CopyTribe, turning their strong writing talent into fulfilling, marketable expertise.

What is CopyTribe?

CopyTribe is the certification program that founder Michal Eisik wishes she had when she was starting out.

Speech therapist by day, copywriter by night — ten years ago, that was Michal’s life.

“It was hustle, hustle, hustle,” Michal remembers. “It took time to build something sustainable and lucrative. I made plenty of mistakes.”

Today Michal runs a copywriting agency that specializes in web copy for tech brands, with projects typically ranging from $10-40K.

“Copywriting — and marketing in general — are excellent career paths for strong writers and thinkers,” Michal says. “It’s a field that empowers you to earn meaningful income in a flexible, lower-stress way.”

This is why Michal created CopyTribe: to help strong writers in the frum community (both men and women) build a solid career in this field — with full mentorship and support.

Go from strong writer to confident copywriter & strategist in 8 months, with CopyTribe — a university-level program that provides every foundation you need to build a rewarding marketing career.
Registration is currently open until 11:59 pm ET THIS Thursday, Nov 13

What copywriters actually DO — and what they earn

Copywriting is persuasive writing designed to motivate action (like click or buy) or build emotional connection. Good copy isn’t salesy or manipulative; it makes a clear case for why someone should act or feel a certain way about a brand.

Because strong copy drives results, it gets paid accordingly. Full-time in-house copywriters typically earn $50-90K annually, while freelancers running their own businesses make anywhere from $30K to $250K per year, depending on their experience and capacity.

“Copywriting has proven to be a unicorn of a career path — it’s enjoyable, flexible, and offers competitive pay,” says CopyTribe graduate and creative director Leah Hildeshaim.

Nearly every industry (and every marketing asset) needs copy. CopyTribe graduates work across the spectrum — in tech and ecommerce, in nonprofits and education, in health, fashion, and real estate, among others. Project types range widely: ads, web copy, emails, video scripts, social media posts, pitch decks, and more. Most copywriters offer strategy and consulting as well.

And contrary to concerns about AI, strong copywriters who use AI tools effectively become more productive — and more valuable — as strategic assets: they have the know-how to weaponize AI by prompting strategically and facilitating outstanding output.

But CopyTribe graduates are hardly limited to classic copywriter roles: the diverse skills covered open doors throughout the marketing landscape — including roles like email strategist, PR specialist, social media manager, content strategist, and marketing project manager.

Some grads, like Naomi, discover how to leverage their skills in a fulfilling freelance business. Some eventually grow into marketing directors, creative directors, or even launch their own agencies.
