For many years, Crown Heights families had only one Car Menorah Parade to choose from, and participation was limited to those who owned a Car Menorah. Last year, for the first time, families could choose from multiple parades on different nights and locations. This year, we’re continuing that success, making it easier than ever for everyone to participate—even without owning a Car Menorah!

“We’ve been working closely with local Shluchim and NYPD Precincts to organize Menorah Parades in their communities,” says Rabbi Yoel Vogel, the organizer of the parades.

“It was truly special to have a Car Menorah Parade pass through our local streets,” says Rabbi Dovber Bryski of Chabad of Flatbush. “What made it even more practical was that Car Menorahs were available, allowing our local Mekurovim to participate as well!”

Whether you already have a Car Menorah or want to rent one, you can answer the Rebbe’s call for Pirsumei Nisah and Chanukah Mivtzoim by participating in one of the parades.
