Nearly 300 Lubavitchers headed to JFK airport on Tuesday afternoon to board a chartered flight to Kazakhstan, where they will be visiting the Ohel of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson on his yahrzeit, Chof Av.

The flight was chartered specially for the trip by a group of businessman from Crown Heights, who also subsidized the flight and accommodations for the other travelers. In Alma Ata, they will be participating in a full program, with the highlight being the chance to daven at the tziyun on the day of the yahrzeit.

On the way to their gate, the travelers stopped by Chabad of the Airport, run by Rabbi Yossi Rap.
