Following the success of the ‘30 Letters – 30 Days’ program in previous years — first launched in connection with the Rebbe’s 120th birthday — Soul Words is pleased to announce that the program will once again be offered to Chassidim around the world in the thirty days leading up to the Rebbe’s birthday on Yud-Alef Nissan!

We are now nearing thirty days to Yud-Alef Nissan. The Rebbe asked that those celebrating his birthday should give “gifts of Torah.” Studying the Rebbe’s letters is a unique form of Torah study that not only educates us about a vast array of topics but also connects us in a deep way to the Rebbe’s unique approach to life.

Over the years, the Rebbe answered tens of thousands of letters, a portion of which are printed in the series known as Igros Kodesh. In these letters, we find a treasure trove of compassion, wisdom, faith, and practicality — but perhaps most importantly — a direct path to personal insight into the Rebbe’s approach to a vast range of life’s issues. By observing how the Rebbe replies to people from all walks of life dealing with real life issues, we catch a glimpse into the Rebbe’s worldview as it applies to everyday life. In other words, we learn to take the Rebbe’s guidance personally. 

The exciting program featuring nightly text-based classes from renowned teacher, Rabbi Shais Taub, begins this Motzei Shabbos and continues every night until Yud-Alef Nissan (February 28th – March 29th) at 10 pm. A double class will be given every Thursday night to make up for Friday.

Each class includes a downloadable PDF handout with the original Hebrew/Yiddish text and English translation.

This year’s letters will be selected from Volume 12 of Igros Kodesh (5716), marking 70 years.
