On Tuesday night over 2,500 men, women and children from all the different Queens communities gathered together for the second annual Mega Simchas Beis Hashoevo.
On Tuesday night, the third night of Chol Hamoed, over 2,500 men, women and children, from all the different Queens communities gathered together on 72nd Rd. and Main St. for the second annual Mega Simchas Beis Hasho’evo – street dancing.
The event began with the 12 Pesukim as well as an animated video explaining why we celebrate Simchas Beis Hasho’evo.
The excitement in the air grew, as the music began with renowned singer Avi Perets and musician Ori Bitan. The crowd was electrified with an unbelievable energy! It was beautiful to watch people – from all the different Queens communities joining together in unity and dancing together.
Rabbi Yisroel Lipskier, Mashpia in Tomchei Tmimim Queens, spoke about the unique connection between Jews and Hashem that is brought out through dancing and Simcha.
The Simcha, unity and energy surpassed anything Queens has ever seen before!
The event was organized by Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim of Queens together with local Shluchim.
