2,000 Join Post-Lockdown Celebration in Sydney

Just a short while after coming out of the world’s strictest and longest lockdowns, nearly 2,000 people gathered in Sydney, Australia for the Chanukah celebration hosted by the Dover Heights Shule.

Just a short while after coming out of the world’s strictest and longest lockdowns, nearly 2,000 people gathered in Sydney, Australia for the Chanukah celebration hosted by the Dover Heights Shule.

The Chanukah in the Park event, an annual tradition, drew thousands who were yearning for a Jewish celebration after months on end of being locked down due to severe covid restrictions in the country.

Speaking at the event were Rabbi Motti Feldman, Rabbi of Dover Heights Shule, President of Dover Heights Shule Robbin Lax, Head Shliach of Sydney Rabbi Pincus Feldman and local Member of Parliament Gabriel Upton.
