1,800 Volumes of the Rebbe’s Torah Divided By Chassidim Worldwide

No less than 1800 volumes of the Rebbe’s Torah – Maamorim, Sichos, Igros, Reshimos, and Hisvaaduyos – will be studied throughout the year by thousands of chassidim who made commitments in honor of Yud Alef Nissan.

Coming from Yud Alef Nissan, marking 120 years from the Rebbe’s birth, the Central Lubavitch Youth Organization are very pleased, and pleasantly surprised, at the grand proportions reached in the joint gift presented to the Rebbe from Anash and Temimim worldwide.

No less than 1800 volumes of the Rebbe’s Torah — Maamorim, Sichos, Igros, Reshimos, and Hisvaaduyos — will be studied throughout the year by thousands of chassidim who made commitments in honor of Yud Alef Nissan.

Considering the Rebbe’s specific request for this very type of birthday gift, saying that this is what brings him nachas ruach, we can only imagine the Rebbe’s tremendous pleasure from this prominent gift presented by Anash and the Temimim.

The director of the campaign, Rabbi Shmuel Butman, is very impressed from the results. “We always knew of the deep bond and love that Chassidim have for the Rebbe. But it’s something else to actually see with our own eyes how both young and old, men, women, and even children, display such a thirst to study the Rebbe’s Torah.” Rabbi Butman notes that many committed to learn complete volumes. “Even a single Maamor is a complete world for itself, as the Rebbe explained on the occasion of the Rebbe Rashab’s 120th birthday, so how much more so does this apply to vast quantities of the Torah of the Baal Yom Huledes.”

“The reward for a mitzvah is the mitzvah itself,” as the Alter Rebbe explained. As was publicized previously, a grand raffle on 120 sets of the Rebbe’s Torah will be held in the coming days, once all the necessary details will be processed and compiled.

A list of the winners will be published, and the winners will be notified by email.

The Lubavitch Youth Organization expresses heartfelt thanks to generous donations of Reb Leibish Moshe and the Goldhirsch family, which enabled the Chalukah to be widely disseminated, bringing to its amazing results.

Gratitude is also due to the Temimim Reuven Neparstek and Chaim Piekarski who invested much energy throughout the entire Mivtzah and ensured its success.
