18 Ordained for Dayanus at Distinguished Event

In a unique and beautiful event just before Rosh Hashana, Machon Lehoraa Online Smicha program, led by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, celebrated the Dayanus ordination of 18 talmidim, showcasing their achievement and impressive knowledge and understanding.

The event, taking place in Crown Heights just before Rosh Hashana, was attended by Rabbonim and anash, celebrating this tremendous milestone and learning achievement of these new Dayanim.

The Dayanus program started 2.5 years ago, with weekly Shiurim, charts, Sikumim, and guest Shiurim, and over this timespan the talmidim got tested on the foundational Halachos of Choshen Mishpat. Amongst the Talmidim are Shluchim, anash, businessmen, and working individuals who have dedicated time and efforts to achieve this goal.

The Rabbonim Hamashmichim, Rabbi Avrohom Hertz of Vaad Rabbonei Lubavitch, and Rabbi Yaakov Barber, have shared their own experiences with the talmidim and their impressive test performances, connecting it to the time of the year we are standing in and highlighting the importance of learning Halacha in general and Choshen Mishpat in particular.

Many of the ordained Dayanim shared some words as well, emphasizing the change it had brought to their day-to-day lives, the impact it had on their families, and the tremendous appreciation for Torah their entire families experienced. This comes about after many hours of learning, reviewing, attending Shiurim, and Dibuk Chaverim they had as a group. The dedication had resulted in receiving Dayanus.

The group had also shared their experiences with Rabbi Dovid Schochet AH, who they had the opportunity to get tested by for their first test 2 years ago, and the guidance he gave them in their learning.
