Preschools around the world began a new school year with strong support from Chabad Early Childhood of the Shluchim Office.
Chabad Early Childhood is the international network supporting Chabad preschools on Shlichus with curriculum resources, teacher training, and more.
Beginning in June, the network sent out their annual curriculum and included a special mailing to many new schools joining Chabad Early Childhood, ensuring that educators had the tools they needed well before the start of the school year.
Over 1,320 copies of the newest toddler curriculum were mailed out, featuring practical lesson plans, developmental activities, and easy-to-use shopping lists designed to streamline teachers’ workloads.
“I have been a director for 34 years, yet I still seek support, advice and camaraderie from my fellow Shluchos,” shared Mrs. Perl Stroh, director of Chabad Early Learning of the Upper West Side. “I am grateful to Chabad Early Childhood for creating a warm space for us to connect. From Shluchos with years of experience, I take my tough questions and know I am getting solid advice. From the newer Shluchos, I get new ideas and fresh perspectives. We all understand each other and speak the same language.”
In July, the launch of a new marketing campaign helped schools strengthen meaningful connections between educators and parents. In August, Chabad Early Childhood hosted impactful virtual teacher training sessions with six sessions covering vital topics such as safe attachment, classroom management, child development, and positive approaches to challenging behavior.
“Beyond the resources and training, perhaps the most valuable takeaway from this summer has been the sense of community,” said director Mrs. Rivky Baitelman. “We are so grateful to have a close-knit, supportive network where school directors can share ideas, resources, and encouragement. It’s a sisterhood that has flourished, offering daily support, collaboration, and that big hug feeling, reminding directors and teachers that they’re never alone in their mission.”
