14 Hostages Released on Third Day of Ceasefire

Another thirteen Israeli hostages, nine children and four women, were released from captivity in Gaza on Sunday. An additional dual Israeli-Russian citizen was released.

Thirteen more Israeli hostages, nine children and four women, were released from captivity in Gaza on Sunday and are now in Israeli custody.

The freed hostages on the way home are: Abigail Idan, 3 year old. Ella Eliakim, 8 years old. Dafna Eliakim, 15 years old. Hagar Brodetz. 40 year old. Ofri Brodetz, 10 years old. Yuval Brodetz, 8 years old. Oriya Brodetz 4 year old. Chen Goldstein 49 year old. Agam Goldstein, 17 years old. Tal Goldstein, 9 years old. Gal Goldstein, 11 years old. Alma Avraham 84 year old, and Adrian Aviva Siegel, 63.

According to White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan one of the hostages released on Sunday from captivity is a United States citizen.

Hamas also released an adult male with dual Israeli-Russian citizenship on top of the 13 agreed-upon Israeli hostages, “in appreciation to President Vladimir Putin for his support for the Palestinian cause.”

Prior to Sunday, Hamas has released 26 Israelis and fourteen Thai nationals it had held as hostages, while Israel has freed 78 Palestinians.

Israel and Hamas have agreed to swap 50 hostages held by the Palestinian terrorist group for 150 terrorist prisoners in Israeli jails over a four-day truce period.
