Over 100 men donned tefillin and 150 women received Shabbos candles at a rally on Friday in New York marking 100 days since the start of the war in Eretz Yisroel.

The rally, hosted by a long list of organizations, was held in front of the UN building in Manhattan, and demanded the immediate release of all the hostages held by the accursed terrorists in Gaza.

Joining the rally was 13-year-old Hila Rotem-Shoshani, who was kidnapped to Gaza, released after 50 days, and flew to New York to ask the world to do everything to free the abductees.

In 5727, before the start of the Six-Day-War, the Rebbe said that mivtza tefillin would bring victory to Am Yisroel and Eretz Yisroel. In light of the Rebbe’s words then, bochurim have been increasing in their mivtzoim efforts over the past months in the merit of the Yidden in Eretz Yisroel.

With the expected high turnout, bochurim joined this rally as well, and were met with great success. Over 100 men donned tefillin, over 150 women received Shabbos candles, and a number of participants also signed up for ois b’sefer Torah.
