Erev Shabbos…the rush to prepare your Shabbos meals, or to drive upstate while trying to avoid the looming traffic.
For most of us, that is.
The Bluming family will be preparing for a very different type of Shabbos.
A somber, frightening Shabbos. Another day in the battle to save the life of their 15-year-old son, Mendel.
Mendel continues to fight for his life in a sterile hospital room, and the situation keeps on changing, for better or for worse…
So while you prepare for Shabbos, please remember the Bluming family. Please remember their son Mendel. Please reach into your hearts, and give what you can for Mendel, who has his whole life waiting ahead of him.
