Young Singer Celebrates Rebbe’s Anniversary with New ‘Mi Adir’

Following the success of his debut “Emadi” last year, Berel Faiden has released his second original track, “Mi Adir,” timed to coincide with Yud Daled Kislev, the anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s Chasunah.

Berel Faiden has released his second original track called “Mi Adir”, following the success of his debut song “Emadi” almost a year later.

Born and raised in Morristown, NJ, Berel has been making waves in the professional music scene for the past three years. With “Mi Adir”, Berel continues his musical journey, offering a fresh take on the classic Chuppah lyrics. This original composition was crafted by veteran superstar composer Yitzy Waldner, who also collaborated with Berel on his debut release, “Emadi.” The partnership between the two has grown stronger, with Waldner recognizing Berel’s unique voice as a standout in today’s lineup of talented singers.

“While there have been many classic renditions of ‘Mi Adir,’ this song really stood out to me for its emotional and melodic sound,” Waldner explains. “I believe it will be a popular choice for upcoming Chuppahs.”

The production features music arranged by Yanky Steinmetz, guitars by Noam Hargol, and mixing by the renowned Ravid Kashti, who has perfected the sound of numerous hits in Jewish music.

Berel chose to release “Mi Adir” on Yud Daled Kislev, a date of great significance in the Chabad-Lubavitch calendar. It commemorates the wedding anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin, which took place on the 14th of Kislev in 1928.

“This day marks a pivotal moment in Chabad history,” Berel shares. “The Rebbe referred to it as the day that ‘bound him to the Chassidim,’ symbolizing the deep connection and commitment between him and his followers.”

Berel reflects on how this auspicious date aligns with the song’s theme. “It is fitting to release a Chuppah song on a day that celebrates the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s dedication to Jewish leadership and education. Their legacy inspires Chabad Chassidim worldwide to strengthen their commitments to Torah, Mitzvot, and the teachings of Chassidus.”

“Mi Adir” is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, 24Six, Zing, Mostly Music, Nigun, and more. Listeners can experience the unique charm of Berel’s voice, which continues to captivate audiences.
