Young Shluchim Kinus Concluded with Grand Finale

Thousands of Young Shluchim from the in-person and virtual tracks came together for a vibrant Finale event, celebrating their unique role in bringing the world to Geulah — the heart of this year’s theme, “Our Pride, Our Joy.”

After an amazing weekend, thousands of Young Shluchim participating in both the in-person and virtual tracks joined together for this year’s Finale event. At this beautiful program, the Young Shluchim got to celebrate their unique role, highlighted through this year’s theme of “Our Pride, Our Joy” focusing on how Shluchim are tasked by the Rebbe to bring the world to Geulah.

“My son is still on a high, he won’t take off his Kinus shirt, Yarmulke, and badge, and sings the Kinus song in a hoarse voice all day long and is davening with renewed Chayus,” wrote Mrs. Chaya Rosenfeld, Shlucha to Vancouver, BC. “The Chassidishkeit is missing in his life throughout the year, and through atmosphere, being in 770, and going to the Ohel, etc he really gained!”

The program was hosted by Division Head Mendel Gancz from West Palm Beach, FL together with Young Shliach Yisroel Bluming from Chapel Hill, NC.

The Finale kicked off with reciting the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s Kapitel and 12 Pessukim before the presentation of this year’s theme video. Through interviews with Rabbi Levi Garelik, Shlich Rabbi Mendel Raskin, and Young Shluchim Yaakov Bronstein from Altamonte Springs, FL and Hillel Majesky from Accra, Ghana the uniqueness and specialty of the Young Shluchim was brought out and celebrated.

A presentation and live appearance followed, introducing powerful and uplifting stories from Young Shluchim Yankel Goldman from Cape Town, South Africa and Moshele Raskin from Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Before Roll Call, a special moment unfolded connected to the Writing Us Together initiative, which encourages Shluchim to help community members purchase letters in the Sefer Torah. The eleventh Sefer Torah Hakloli was brought out, and three young Shluchim were honored with writing some of its final letters. As the Torah was completed and closed, spontaneous dancing broke out in celebration.
