Out of work due to Covid-19? Has the pandemic affected your finances in a significant way?

You may be eligible for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, says Shmuel Kaye, creator of homeunemployed.com, a small site loaded with information to help people understand how they might be eligible for unemployment and the stimulus payments from the CARES Act.

On March 27th 2020, the federal government passed measures that directly benefit everyday Americans: a $2.2 trillion package called the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act.

Whilst most people have heard about the Act, many are unaware of how if may benefit them. The new website offers a wealth of information on the topic, addresses frequently asked questions and even offers calculations for payments.

Although not an accountant or an official financial advisor himself, Kaye has thoroughly researched the topic, helped many people apply, and has written up the information so more people can benefit.

“I was helping lots of friends sign up for unemployment,” he told Anash.org. “I spoke to many people who were struggling financially and didn’t know that they might be eligible.”

While the amount of information on the site may seem overwhelming, Kaye assures that the process is quite simple for most people.

Visit homeunemployed.com to see if you qualify.
