As part of the European Yeshivas Kayitz program led by Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Lubecki, the bochurim have been spending part of their days immersed in learning and mivtzoim at Beis Lubavitch in Paris.

One day was dedicated to a special tour of historic sites connected to the Rebbe’s time in the city. Among the places the group visited:

17 and 25 Rue des Rosiers – the two shuls in the Pletzl Jewish quarter where the Rebbe spent much time davening and giving shiurim.

10 Rue Dieu – the former home of Reb Zalman Schneerson, where Rebbetzin Chana a”h, the Rebbe’s mother, stayed in 5707 (1947), and where the Rebbe visited her.

Luxembourg Gardens – where the famous photo of the Rebbe was taken.

Throughout the tour, the bochurim were fascinated, and they took the opportunity to put tefillin on passersby near these historical locations.
