The terrace in front of 770’s Eastern Parkway Women’s Section is being ripped out and replaced ahead of the yomim tovim. The repair will correct the broken tiles and will waterproof the shul below it.
The workers have begun by removing all the tiles and waterproofing the underlayment. Once that is completed the tiles will be reinstalled and the broken ones will be replaced.
Thank you ” beyond” Rabbi Shamya Krinsky!. We, women,are VERY happy that the extremely DANGEROUS terrace is being repaired! The women should be treated with ” coved and care!” Maybe a few other safety measures should also be investigated.
