The Crown Heights Women’s Circle will kick off their third year of Imos U’banos tonight, from 7-8 p.m. The popular offering welcomes mothers and daughters for individualized learning. Pairs can choose prepared study material on topics and levels that appeal to them (or bring their own). Then they can find a cozy corner, enjoy some refreshments, and learn about the parsha and Chof Cheshvan. Prizes are raffled off including breakfast for two at Bunch-O-Bagels.
Imos U’banos is held at the beautiful, newly-designed Kahal Chassidim, located at the corner of Carroll and Schenectady. Enter via Schenectady Ave.
Despite its name, Imos Ubanos is not only for mother and daughter pairs. Aunts, friends, grandmothers, and neighbors are all invited to come learn with their special girl.
This event is free of charge. To dedicate a session of Imos Ubanos please contact the Women’s Circle at [email protected]. For information on upcoming WC events, visit www.chwomenscircle.com.
