A crowd of 70 women and girls gathered on Sunday night at BINA of Sydney to learn and prepare for the upcoming Yom Tov of Shavuos.
Conscious of the fact that Hashem told Moshe to speak to the women first, women of the Sydney community were encouraged to take the lead and come together to be inspired. Events such as this one take place several times a year before a yom tov.
Mothers and daughters bonded over texts exploring concepts in Matan Torah. Following the chavrusa learning, the women enjoyed an inspiring shiur by Mrs. Dina Gourarie, while the girls were led to another room for a craft and special activities run by Mushky Chaiton and Chaya Gourarie.
