With Flights Canceled, Spirits Soared in Crown Heights

When heavy snowstorm prevented several CTeen groups from returning to France as planned, the unexpected delay became an uplifting experience as R’ Levi Azimov, led a farbrengen with groups from Neuilly, Antony, Levallois, Boulogne, and Orléans.

In Crown Heights, a heavy snowstorm prevented several CTeen groups from returning to France as planned. But, instead of frustration, the unexpected delay became an uplifting experience.

Rav Levi Azimov, Shliach in Paris, France, led a farbrengen that continued late into the night, joined by CTeen groups from Neuilly, Antony, Levallois, Boulogne, and Orléans. The gathering also marked the Bar Mitzvah of his son, Bentzion Azimov, making the evening especially meaningful.

“We must thank Hashem for the snow,” Rav Azimov shared, “so we could stay one more day and return once again to the Rebbe.”

The farbrengen took place at the Lincoln Place Shul, a welcoming Chabad center serving many French-speaking visitors, led by Rabbi Meyer Shushan.

What began as a storm ended as a night of warmth, unity, and growth.
