Why Every Jew Must Vote in the NYC Mayoral Election

Voting isn’t only about who wins or loses. It’s about making a strong stand for our community. Deadline to request a mail-in ballot is Motzei Shabbos.

The deadline to register to request a mail-in ballot is THIS MOTZEI SHABBOS, OCTOBER 25.

Eligibility is simple:
Be a US citizen 18 or over with no criminal conviction
Live in NYC for 30 days or more, not claiming the right to vote in another state

WE NEED EVERYONE.

This is not about who wins or loses. This is about making a strong stand for our community. The more total votes we have, the more we are seen by all of our elected officials.

More than that– it’s a matter of principle, about standing up against rising antisemitism and the forces that fan its flames– even as those forces feign innocence. We know the Truth. We must speak up. Voting is the language politicians speak- as Rabbi Paltiel says in the video, “voting is winning and not voting is losing.” We need to do our part and have faith that Hashem will do His.

To register to vote, request a mail in ballot, check your voter status, or find your poll site, please go to VOTE.NYC.
