To celebrate the end of a successful year of CKids Hebrew School despite all odds, a meaningful and entertaining video was produced of children in a Chabad Hebrew School on Mars in 50 years from now learning a lesson from our current situation.
What will Chabad Hebrew School Look like in the year 2070?
When COVID-19 took the world by storm, CKids responded with just 48 hours notice, putting together a robust virtual Hebrew school with musical davening, interactive reviews, and engaging lessons.
Over 40,000 children from over 26 different countries looked forward to the program every week. For close to 3 months, CKids was the source of learning, connection and joyful Jewish life for families living in social isolation around the world.
Now, as the spring semester comes to an end, CKids has done it again with a meaningful and entertaining graduation video about what Hebrew School would look like in the year 2070.
“The school year didn’t turn out the way we expected,” says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, CKids executive director and Merkos 302 director, “But we couldn’t be more grateful to all the shluchim and CKids staff who bounced back with the highest quality materials to educated the next generation.”
