Monday 9 PM: Ckids will host an online discussion to give high school and seminary students a better perspective on the upcoming summer. Featuring Rabbi Shais Taub, Mrs. Manya Lazaroff and others.
For high school and seminary girls, the question “What are you doing this summer?” has no easy answer. Will camp continue as normal? Will running Zoom activities become the norm? Will every state have a different solution?
To address these concerns, Ckids is hosting a virtual discussion this Monday night, May 25th, ב’ סיון, at 9:00pm EST. The event aims to give potential camp counselors a better perspective on the upcoming summer.
“We’re looking toward the future, and none of us know exactly what to expect,” says Rabbi Zalmy Loewenthal, director of Ckids. “With so much uncertainty, it’s more important than ever to keep lines of communication open.”
The event will be both inspiring and practical, keeping prospective camp counselors focused and positive. Speakers include Rabbi Shais Taub, Mrs. Manya Lazaroff, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, and Rabbi Zalmy Kudan.
“As the central nerve center for Camp Gan Izzy international, it’s crucial to respond with strength in times of crisis,” says Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos 302.
With so much up in the air, this event is a reminder of the importance of making this summer count, no matter what happens.
