Close to one thousand guests spent an uplifting Shabbos in unison at the Rixos Hotel near the Ohel of Reb Levik in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan.
Chief Rabbi of Iran, Rabbi Yehuda Gerami, attended a grand banquet at the luxurious Rixos Hotel in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, marking the 80th yahrtzeit of the Harav Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father. The evening was organized by the benefactor R’ Avi Shaulzon.
Following inspiring remarks and birkas kohanim from the Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan, Rabbi Yeshaya Cohen, Rabbi Gerami was invited to speak. Rabbi Gerami stated: “I came in honor of the Rebbe, I came in honor of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak. We are all emissaries of the Rebbe; the Rebbe is our father.”
