Following a round of heavy Russian shelling yesterday night in the Ukrainian city Kryvyi Rih, a massive explosion occurred in very close proximity to the Shul there.

The shul is operated by Shliach to Kryvyi Rih, Rabbi Liron Edri and the Russian shelling took place a mere 200 meters from the city’s Shul.

The security officer for Chabad of Ukraine – JRNU, reported that “the main door lock could not withstand the pressure of the blast wave. However, the front windows of the building, which were treated with a protective film just two weeks ago, remained intact.”

“Some windows at the rear of the building were shattered,” the security officer acknowledged.
