‘Tzeirei Hatmimim’ to Open in Different Location

Tzeirei Hatmimim Summer Program, which usually operates in Baltimore, MD, will be taking place in Canadensis, Pennsylvania. The first month program in Crown Heights will open as well.

The Tzeirei Hatmimim Summer Program, which operated in Baltimore, MD, in previous years, will be opening this summer at a new location, due to state restrictions. The first month program in Crown Heights will open as well, following all state and city health regulations.

The new location will be in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, where the program will be renting the campus of Yeshivas Beis Menachem of Wilkes-Barre.

The 53-acre campus, nestled in the Poconos Mountains, includes expansive woods, spacious playing fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a vegetable garden and a scenic view.

The program, which runs through the second month of the summer, is geared for those graduating 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Rabbi Yosef Klyne, the camp Menahel, says that the current crisis, “is only more of a reason to utilize the summer in the most productive manner.”

Rabbi Uri Perlman of Yeshivas Beis Menachem told Anash.org that “they could not have asked for a better guest.”

“Tzeirei Hatmimim’s mission statement, to inspire learning and instill chassidishe warmth in the boys, speaks for itself. It is a great zechus to be a part of this,” he said.

Tzeirei Hatmimims first month’s program in Crown Heights is also opening. “We are still following the various developing guidelines, to know how and in which format it could function,” the administration wrote to the parents. “We will keep you informed.”
