A record of 32 Yeshivos will be participating in the annual ‘Hour with the Rebbe’ program in 770, this Yud Shevat.
As Yud Shevat is fast approaching, thousands of Bochorim are preparing their journey to Crown Heights, to be with the Rebbe on this auspicious day.
This year, in celebration of 70 years of the Rebbe’s Nesius, many more Yeshivos have made plans to spend Yud Shevat with the Rebbe.
One of the highlight programs of the Bochorim’s stay, will be the annual ‘hour with the Rebbe’.
On Wednesday evening, Yud Shevat, an hour-long video of the Rebbe will be shown. The video includes a collection of Sichos and Niggunim connected to Yud Shevat, Hiskashrus, and Shlichus.
Participating Yeshivos include: Baltimore, Brunoy, Chicago, Chovevei Torah Mesivta, Cincinnati, Coral Springs, London Zal, Los Angeles Mesivta, Los Angels Zal, Miami Mesivta, Miami – Torah Or, Monsey, Montreal Mesivta, Montreal Zal, Moscow, New Haven Mesivta, New Haven Zal, Oholei Torah Mesivta, Ohelei Torah Zal, Poconos, Postville, Queens, Toras Emes, Toronto Mesivta, Toronto Zal, Toronto – Or Tememim, Tzfas – Tzeirei Hashluchim, and Westchester. As well as the 8th grade from Ohelei Torah and Lubavitcher Yeshivah.
This year, due to the large amount of Bochurim attending, extra bleachers are being rented, to accommodate everyone.
“Years ago, when everyone came in for Yud Shevat, the highlight was always the Rebbe’s Farbrengen,” said Mordechai Rosenzweig, one of the event organizers. “This year we hope to have that same highlight, and hopefully, with the Rebbe’s Hisgalus,” he said.
The organizers hope that we will indeed merit to a Farbrengen with the Rebbe Kipshuto, with the coming of Moshiach now!
