When shliach Rabbi Shmuli Novack’s father passed away two weeks ago, Chabad of Southside in Jacksonville, FL almost cancelled its upcoming fundraising campaign.
Then, in a heartwarming tribute to Rabbi Bentzion Novack, a”h, the community rallied around their Rabbi, giving him the strength to go on with the plan.
“There are so many words to describe my father,” Rabbi Novack wrote on the campaign page, “but one small word comes to mind for all who met him: BIG. Everything from his giant stature, his outlook on life, his constant smile, his enormous heart… In his memory, we are going BIG!”
