The 3rd Beis Hamikdash is Now Live!
With talk around the world about a “Chabad plot to rebuild the Third Temple,” Rabbi Mendy Elishevitz built Mikdash.live – a first-of-its-kind portal to the world of the Beis Hamikdash.
Last week, Tucker Carlson dedicated a large chunk of his podcast to warning his millions of followers about a supposed Chabad plot to rebuild the Third Temple and start a global religious war.
In response, Rabbi Mendy Elishevitz from Chabad of Karmiel, Eretz Yisroel, built Mikdash.live – a first-of-its-kind portal to the world of the Beis Hamikdash. Released Sunday night, it has already welcomed over 4,000 visitors.
The site is not just for learning, it’s for feeling it. What’s happening right now in the Beis Hamikdash? What would you need to do before Pesach? What does it cost to bring a korban? Everything on the site is rooted in halacha, and it tries to make it all real, tangible, and alive, presented not as a conspiracy or a threat, but as what the Torah says it will be: a beautiful, peaceful, spiritually elevating reality for the entire world.
With Pesach just three weeks away, the site couldn’t be more timely. If the Beis Hamikdash were rebuilt today, there would still be just enough time to do it b’tahara — the 7-day Para Aduma process must begin by 7 Nisan (March 25).
The site features a real-time schedule of the daily avodah, a korbanos shopping cart with current market pricing (Korban Pesach for your chabura runs $250–$350), a full Pesach at the Beis Hamikdosh guide, Para Aduma purification appointments, a live moon data page that brings Hilchos Kiddush Hachodesh to life, and a Sanhedrin public discussion forum where the questions already on the docket will make you smile. There are a few other features you’ll just have to discover yourself.
The goal is simple: to increase our anticipation and longing for the Geulah, and to help us prepare for it in our minds and hearts.
To be clear: the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash is entirely in Hashem’s hands. And when the time comes, it will not be an act of war. It will be the fulfillment of the famous prophecy: “לא ישא גוי אל גוי חרב ולא ילמדו עוד מלחמה” — the end of all war, not its beginning.
Start preparing for Pesach in Yerushalayim at Mikdash.live.
The confluence of technology and Beis Hamikdash really brings it to life. When Moshiach comes, we won’t be going back in time, everything – including technology – will be used to serve Hashem.
