Recently, some people have been playing around with the Tachnun light at the Chazan’s shtender in 770, turning it on when there wasn’t a chosson in Shul.

In response to this unruly activity, the Rabbonim of Crown Heights have decided that the light should be taken down, as not to serve as a further obstacle.
