Special Mitzvah Campaign Launched to Bring Moshiach
As Lubavitcher Chassidim we don’t need to be reminded how many times the Rebbe spoke, encouraged, and pleaded with us to do all we can to bring Moshiach. A new initiative provides a simple, practical framework for Chassidim everywhere to take action — not tomorrow, not in theory, but today.

As Lubavitcher Chassidim we don’t need to be reminded how many times the Rebbe spoke, encouraged, and pleaded with us to do all we can to bring Moshiach.
For decades, many have struggled with the seemingly elusive call to “ker a velt heint” — how can one individual really “turn over the world”? We often feel inspired by a video of the Rebbe speaking about Moshiach. “Wow, I need to do something.” But the question remains: what, exactly, should I do that will truly bring Moshiach?
The Rebbe already gave the answer, clear and direct: “Lo Nifleis Hi Mimcha — it is not beyond you.” Bringing Moshiach doesn’t necessarily depend on lofty ideas or complex calculations.
The Rebbe spelled it out for us:
- Learn Torah.
- Be punctilious in doing mitzvos.
- Increase in Ahavas Yisroel and in tzedakah.
- And learn about Moshiach and Geulah.
After the famous sicha of Chof Ches Nissan, Rabbi Groner told the Rebbe: “Chassidim are breaking their heads to figure out how to bring Moshiach.” The Rebbe smiled and replied: “Go downstairs, bang on the table, and tell everyone there is no need to break your head. I said several times: You need to learn Torah, be punctilious about doing mitzvos, and increase in Ahavas Yisroel and tzedaka. And see to it to learn something on the topic of Moshiach and Geula.”
This is exactly the foundation of the new Project Mivtzah Moshiach hosted on OneMitzvah.org. The initiative provides a simple, practical framework for Chassidim everywhere to take action — not tomorrow, not in theory, but today.
Especially now as we approach the days of the month of Elul, what better time is there for such a project, than when Hashem is so close to us, “The king goes out to the field.. and he greets everyone with a smiling countenance”
Two dedicated pages have been set up:
- onemitzvah.org/moshiachtoday – General Link
- onemitzvah.org/bringmoshiach – A special page for Anash and Chassidim
Both sites are still under construction, but the vision is for it to grow into a full library of resources, inspiration, and practical tools to help every Jew take a practical part in the Geulah’s imminent arrival.
Each one of us can add something today — another minute of Torah, another mitzvah, another coin of tzedakah — and together, these actions will bring the Geulah Ha’amitis V’hashleimah.
The Rebbe told us exactly what to do. The only question is: Will we do it?

And if i can add:
A big part of all of the confusion is rooted in something very deep –
And that is, that we as chasidim for the most part belueved that its the rebbe who’s job it is to bring moshiach…
We can learn daven, do mivtzoim v’chulu
But in the end of the day, its up to the rebbe…
But here the rebbe comes and turns over the tables: i want *you* to want moshiach!
I want you to scream ad mosai.
But not screaming because we were told to do so – as the famous moshol of the yekishe machzor – but
To scream with passion –
And to feel,
That כל עוד לא נבנה ביהמ”ק בימיו
Then…
And when the rebbe puts us in the focus..
We loose track
Whats happening? how come no one else has joined? Hayitochen? Don’t we all want Moshiach?
perfect to send out to balebatim
