So Much for Saying ‘Never Again’
Opinion: No matter how artfully Prime Minister Netanyahu and his Yes-Men and PR team will try to package it, at the end of the day, the State of Israel is acquiescing to a deal that will forevermore give away Gaza for the establishment of a Palestinian State.
By Mrs. Tamar Adelstein
Crown Heights Women for the Safety and Integrity of Israel protests in the strongest possible terms Prime Minister Netanyahu’s capitulation to President Trump’s 21-point Principles of Peace plan for Gaza.
The plan grants a blanket pardon to 1700 savage Arabs who were either directly involved carrying out and/or complicit in their support for the devastating Pogrom on October 7th. Mr. Trump’s Principles of Peace additionally sets free another 250 Arab barbarians serving life sentences for murdering Jews before that horrible day.
Is this really the only way to gain our unfortunate, suffering hostages’ release?! Hamas and their wicked allies’ are gloating, deliberately taking their time to collect the deceased from across Gaza and relishing the power they have over the barely living, their despairing families, the State of Israel and, indeed, even President Trump.
No matter how artfully Prime Minister Netanyahu and his Yes-Men and PR team will try to package it, at the end of the day, the State of Israel is acquiescing to a deal that will forevermore give away Gaza to Donald Trump and a host of other foreign businessmen and Arab emirs for the establishment of a Palestinian State.
So much for saying Never Again….
President Trump’s boast before Rosh HaShana that he would block Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria was merely the opening salvo.
Like a throwback to the Middle Ages, when Jews were the reigning monarch’s “property,” President Trump’s next shot was to reassure Arab leaders on Rosh HaShana (in competition with the King of Kings) that he had Gaza in the bag.
With an obsequious Prime Minister Netanyahu fawning (quite obviously under pressure) at his side, President Trump rolled out his peace program three days before Yom Kippur – further reminding us of the indignities shtadlanim were subjected to when seeking the welfare and protection of the Jewish community before a long line of crude but powerful Kings, Emperors and Czars.
The only thing missing from the utterly humiliating phone call Prime Minister Netanyahu was forced to make to Qatar was the image of a whip cracking over his head as he crawled on hands and knees begging a pardon from the Emir.
Adding insult to injury, President Trump then penned an executive order stipulating that any armed attack on Qatar’s territory, sovereignty, or infrastructure will be considered a direct threat to the security of the United States.
In one fell swoop, Mr. Trump guaranteed Israel’s enemies a safe harbor in Qatar from which to organize terror and war against Jews without impunity, G-d Forbid.
The President’s eagerness to close on a deal in Gaza proves that even “friends” with close familial ties to the Jewish People can turn on a dime.
Sadly, Mr. Trump is showing himself to be a fickle mixture of wisdom and foolishness.
The Rebbe Speaks!
On Friday, June 5, 1978, the PLO carried out a terror attack in Jerusalem, bombing the Number 12 bus, killing six Jews and wounding many others. After Shabbos, the Rebbe publicly addressed the failures that led to the terrible tragedy.
“When the government of Israel is afraid to do what really needs to be done, not only are they looked upon unfavorably by the Nations, but to the contrary, they invite even more pressure and demands on them for further concessions.”
The Rebbe then referenced Operation Litani (the first Lebanon War) that Israel launched three months before in response to the Coastal Road Massacre perpetrated by the PLO on March 11, 1978 – a terror attack considered at the time one of the worst in Israel’s history. Tragically, thirty-eight Jews were murdered that day, including 13 children, and another left 76 seriously wounded; Israel aimed to rout the PLO from their bases in Southern Lebanon.
“Tyre is a prime example. The army has always stated clearly that the city of Tyre must be conquered. Regardless, the politicians – afraid of what the Gentiles say – never agreed. Because of this failure and the present terrible distress that emanates from Tyre and its surrounding area in Southern Lebanon, Israel was left with no choice but to eliminate the terrorists.
“As a result, not only did it not help the situation, but to the contrary, the effect was to bring even more pressure [down on Israel].
“The results are open for all to see: There is no calm, to the contrary, this was the cause of the bombing attack on the Number 12 bus in Jerusalem – a direct consequence of politicians’ fear of vanquishing the city of Tyre, where the terrorists’ headquarters is located.
“Instead, they pinned their hopes on a certain individual, thinking that perhaps he is one of the righteous gentiles of the world. Believing so is (and has been repeatedly) a life-threatening [miscalculation] for the Jewish People!
“The politicians think that by telling the terrorists, “we won’t attack,” they, in turn, will cease their attacks. In reality, the results of such a policy are the exact opposite. All of this demands that we occupy the borders and station security personnel there, especially along the eastern border of Israel.
“Neglecting to inhabit the borders [the Lubavitcher Rebbe repeated many times that every place in Israel must be thought of as a border] is the reason the USA promises arms to the countries that are the main backers of terrorism.
“When the USA sees its pressure works, that Israeli troops stop inhabiting the borderlands, they put on even more pressure, to the point where they begin blaming the Jews [for every trouble and war].
“[Furthermore] the only way going forward to prevent World pressure and ensure security is to inhabit the territories liberated in the Six Day War. Had the Israeli Government settled all these areas, specifically on the eastern front [Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley] the terror attack in Jerusalem would never have taken place. The terrorists would never have been able to penetrate Israel.” The Rebbe in a public address on Motzie Shabbos, Parshas B’Chukosai, June 6, 1978
“In Gaza, absolute security and full control [must be maintained by Israel] without any form of capitulation. May your efforts be met with much success. The Hebrew meaning of Gaza implies taking a strong, courageous stand.” The Rebbe giving his counsel and blessing to activists in 1991 by Dollars
A lesson for all times, the Rebbe’s words remain as relevant and guiding today as when he first spoke them. Will we take it to heart?
Put yourself in the hostages shoes!
This is evil. Would we kill 50 Jews for every hostage and celebrate their release? At least they’re free?!?
We are in such a darkness that even those against the deal see good in it if it does happen.
This is an act of killing Jews and nothing more.
And do you think the hostages think about the gilad shalit deal?
I agree it’s not good to release terrorists, but regarding that which you write, “The plan grants a blanket pardon to 1700 savage Arabs who were either directly involved carrying out and/or complicit in their support for the devastating Pogrom on October 7th” I want to point out:
1) According to the report from Mrs. Bruria Efune (https://anash.org/israel-approves-first-phase-of-ceasefire-deal/), they are “1,700 from Gaza who were involved with Hamas, but did not participate in the October 7th attack.”
2) I saw a report that originally Hamas demanded Israel free six senior terrorists, along with Nukhba terrorists responsible for the October 7 massacre. But later an Israeli source clarified that the deal will not include the release of Nukhba terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre, nor the four key figures Hamas had demanded be freed.
The 1700 Gazan Arabs being released were not picked up and put in prison by the IDF because they were playing hookey from school.
Furthermore, what was the vetting process Israel used to determine who was a Nukhba killer, raper, baby burner, etc or not?
Gaza’s Arab residents are as complicit as those portrayed in Professor Daniel Goldhagen book, Hitler’s Willling Executioners: Ordinary Germans and the Holocaust – these “non-combatants” are one and the same.
The 250 Arab lifers being let go are being released into Gaza without any consequences whatsoever. It would be naive to think that Nukhba terrorists will face trial and punishment – which is the death penalty.
One one other note – PM Netanyahu and his “Security” Cabinet – a group of 60? men and women unilaterally acquiesed to Trump’s deal. Not one victim from Gaza’s periphery or the towns and cities nearby were consulted. As much as Mr. Trump is wrong, PM Netanyhu hase even more to answer for.
Cuz they were already in jail?
All I’m saying is it’s a lose-lose situation. Either way, there’s a cost. You’re amplifying the disadvantages of the deal without weighing the advantages. Yes, it’s a terrible reality and we’re releasing several ‘Sinwars’ – but unlike the Gilad Shalit deal, Hamas is now weakened, surrounded, and lacks regional support. The circumstances are completely different.
B’emet, not disrespect meant but this is wishful thinking. Of course, we will be relieved when these poor people held hostage are returned to Jewish hands but the rest of the deal is one enormous disaadvantage.
All this being said stay tuned for our upcoming Worldwide Online Event on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 11am EST with The Gush Katif Forum presenting in detail their excellent plan for Keeping and Making Gaza JEWISH and Great Again.
We will also be talking with Nachala’s equally marvelous plan and their determination to for the Jewish Resettlement of Gaza.
