Smicha Program Plans to Open Online and In-Person

Los Angeles based Kollel Tiferes Menachem, headed by Rabbi Dovid Schmukler, will be moving online, while preparing to reopen in-person learning as well at the first opportunity.

Times have changed –– rapidly! –– as we all know. The world that once was, is quickly evolving. Aside from huge technological advances and the ever-changing world of education, the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced a different way of having to approach education today, both from the learning perspective, as well as from the financial aspect.

Kollel Tiferes Menachem, the Smicha Yeshiva in Los Angeles, is a unique Yeshiva. With 20 years of experience, baruch Hashem, Rabbi Dovid Schmukler has established and developed a unique curriculum of genuine, focused learning; a holistic approach and vision of applying studies to real life; engenders genuine camaraderie and friendship and provides the chance to challenge and be challenged.

Unusual times call for unusual measures, and the yeshiva is now making its solid educational experience available to a wider audience with very affordable pricing and technological availability. To tackle the wave and rise above it, Kollel Tiferes Menachem has decided to make a revolution in Smicha education.

Kollel Tiferes Menachem is moving to an online platform and is the program of choice for bochurim who seek a high-standard smicha education, as well as a strong foundation in the study of Chassidus, at very affordable pricing. For a bochur who desires to develop a strong Chassidishe perspective and personality, for a bochur who is looking to live what they learn with joy and infectiousness, this is the yeshiva.

Kollel Tiferes Menachem intends to continue its in-person program with highly-affordable pricing as soon as restrictions ease up and the health threat becomes less of an issue, b’ezras Hashem. And still, the online platform will remain in place as a fully available option for those who prefer long-distance learning.

Of course, the ultimate change is happening faster than we know it –– Moshiach is coming! And b’ezras Hashem, the yeshiva will continue in Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh, and we will learn in-person with Moshiach Tzidkeinu.

Here is what some of our alumni have to say about their experience at Kollel Tiferes Menachem:

“Rabbi Schmukler taught us a lot more than just Smicha. He encouraged us to live and grow as Chassidishe bochurim with Yiras Shomayim at this important stage of our lives.”
Rabbi Bery Wolozov

“I could say with confidence that studying at Kollel Tiferes Menachem provided me with the most accomplishing year I experienced in the yeshiva system.”
Rabbi Sholom Eagel

“My experience at Kollel Tiferes Menachem gave me not only the knowledge base needed to attain my rabbinical degree, but also the tools that I use every day in serving the rabbinical needs of my community in Cooper City, FL over the past 14 years. I am extremely thankful for my training, and my community is thankful as well.”
Rabbi Adi Goodman (Shliach)

“I cannot say enough about the educational and personal growth I experienced at Rabbi Schmukler’s Smicha program! The learning regimen was broad, clear and well-presented while the atmosphere allowed for us to be ourselves and develop our talents. Rabbi Schmukler’s warmth and excitement for learning make this program world class!
Rabbi Daniel Cowen
