As a message of hope and conviction that Moshiach is near, Chaviva Tarlow, a performer for nearly 15 years, has released a new song called, In a Song.
Tarlow, whose performances have taken her across the globe, keeps a journal of audience feedback and new hachlotos inspired by her music. “My greatest joy is when my listeners feel a little more connected and alive after a performance,” she said.
When the October 7th tragedy occurred, the world felt darker than ever, and the pain of the Jewish people was overwhelming. Tarlow felt compelled to share music that could bring light and strengthen the belief that Geulah is close.
“This song is a reminder and beacon of hope that Moshiach is coming and we will soon stop hurting,” Tarlow told Anash.org. “It’s an anthem of hope, conviction, and deep belief that very soon we will be greeted to better days – days where all evil is demolished and only light, joy, and love are felt everywhere.”
In a Song offers a visual of how we will feel when Moshiach is here. When we can imagine the new reality, we can feel a sense of hope and determination that He will come.
“I hope this song will bring light to anyone who feels trapped in darkness – in a tunnel, whether figurative or physical. So many of us feel stuck, suffocated by the pain that surrounds us each day. But we will sing! My wish is that it offers a small ray of hope to every broken heart. Moshiach will come, and we will see our loved ones again.”
The song goes as follows:
“In a song we’ll sing
a joyous melody
Reunited once again
Led into our promised land
yes this the year
moshiach will appear
bemheira veyameinu amen
On eagle wings we’ll fly
Soaring through the sky
All our questions and our cries
Prayers realized
Our hearts have healed
Moshiach is revealed
Bemeheira veyameinu amen”
Women and girls can hear “In a Song” here.
Her music is also available on all streaming platforms.
