Having completed and mastered the entire Mesechta Kesubos, the Talmidim Hashluchim of Kolel Torah Panama were farhered by Panama’s rabbonim and celebrated with a festive Siyum. On a reward trip to Eretz Yisroel, they were further tested by Chief Rabbi David Yosef, who was impressed with their knowledge.

Talmidim hashluchim of Yeshiva Gedolah – Kolel Torah Panama, headed by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi MM Shuchat, were farhered on the whole Maseches Kesubos by Chief Sephardic Rabbi Rav David Perets and local Roshei Yeshiva Rav Yosef Perets and Rav Yisroel Meir Kadosh. The Rabbis were extremely impressed by how the Shluchim mastered the Masechet and were able to pull out the sugyos in a heartbeat. 

The exam was followed by a special lunch farbrengen at the home of Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi and Head Shliach Rabbi Ari Laine, and concluded with a lavish Siyum for the wider community in the luxurious Adama hall. 

The Shluchim that successfully concluded this rigorous program were awarded with a special trip to Eretz Yisroel, where Chief Rabbi and Rishon Letziyon Rav David Yosef received them in his study in Yerushalayim and discussed with the Shluchim practical cases that came to the Rabbanut Beis Din that can be derived from the Sugyos in Kesubos. The Chief Rabbi took a strong interest in the work of the Yeshiva and the Shluchim and strongly encouraged to broaden the Yeshiva to local bochurim as well.
