With Gimmel Tammuz now just 10 days away, a new “mini-course” from the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) puts the spotlight on the personal guidance the Rebbe delivered in his Igros Kodesh.
With Gimmel Tammuz now just 10 days away, a new “mini-course” from the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) helps Shluchim connect new audiences with the Rebbe.
More often than not, presenting the Rebbe’s teachings means learning one of his insights on any number of Torah subjects, like the weekly Parsha, a piece of Gemora, or a concept in Chassidus. Inlook Outlook, as the course is called, puts the spotlight elsewhere – on the Rebbe’s letters, and the personal guidance he would extend to countless people who wrote to him seeking his counsel.
In three lessons, Inlook Outlook explores three such private correspondences between the Rebbe and an individual at a critical life-juncture. Authored by the JLI curriculum team, under the leadership of noted author Rabbi Yanki Tauber, the course will be made available in six different languages. While offering a side of the Rebbe that isn’t always on display in videos or sichos, these classes afford a priceless look at his outlook — on the purpose of life, the power of the neshama, and of finding opportunity in moments of crisis.
While flying into New York might be a fraught prospect these days, JLI’s latest offering is the perfect way to bring a Yid to the Rebbe.
JLI also made this course available in Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, German, and French.
