The Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Bnei Brak, Reb Mendel Hager, has been in Europe for most of the summer. While there, he’s been spending time collecting money for pidyon shvuyim for one of his chassidim. Shabbos Parshas Shoftim was spent in Dnepropetrovsk, where the shluchim, with head shliach Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky at the helm, hosted him.

In addition to greeting him at the airport and providing for all his needs, the kehillah of Dnepr also prepared a beautiful miniature aron kodesh for the sefer torah that the Vizhnitzer Rebbe carries with him on his travels.
