Tuesday, Yud Alef Menachem Av, August 5, marks the Shloshim of a very dear and devoted chosid, R. Avi ben Yehuda Piamenta a”h. He loved everyone, and everyone loved him. His music is legendary, and it uplifts people from across the spectrum.

A special shloshim farbrengen for men will be held in Crown Heights at Anshei Lubavitch, 578 Albany Ave, after Ma’ariv at 9 pm.

A shloshim event for women will be held online on Tuesday at 2 pm Eastern Time.

Avi’s sister Mrs. Ani (Piamenta) Lorber will share about her dear brother, what his passions were, and how we can continue in his ways. He taught without words but just led by example, with his ever sparkling and smiling eyes and joyful “let’s do it” demeanor.

We will hear from Mrs. Ariella Shneor, who heads an architectural and design firm in Tel Aviv-Yaffa. She will share the riveting story of her near-death experience and how it made her mission in life crystal clear, a mission that was tied to Avi’s mission until his last days with us.

We will also be treated to beautiful musical entertainment by women for women.
