Shliach’s Baby Unharmed After Hezbollah Rocket Blast
From the blast of Hezbollah rockets, a glass door in the home of shliach Rabbi Mendy Medvil collapsed onto his baby daughter’s crib. In what he describes as a miracle, his baby daughter came out completely unharmed.
Amid the ongoing war and the incredible miracles being seen every day, residents of central Eretz Yisroel were startled this afternoon by a series of powerful explosions after Hezbollah launched rockets from Lebanon that struck several cities, including Or Yehuda and Ramla.
The blast from one of the impacts caused damage to a home belonging to the Rebbe’s shliach in the Kiryat HaOmanim neighborhood of Ramla, Rabbi Mendy Medvil, who says he witnessed open miracles before his eyes.
Air raid sirens sounded across central Israel following the rocket fire from Lebanon, without prior warning, as residents reported hearing loud explosions. There were also reports of interceptor fragments and shrapnel falling in several locations. The IDF later said that one rocket struck in central Israel while several others landed in open areas.
Rescue forces reported that two people were very lightly injured in the latest barrage: a 32-year-old man who was struck by a flying object, and a 38-year-old woman who suffered a leg injury.
“We saw incredible miracles,” Rabbi Medvil said. His young baby daughter was happily lying in her crib just a few feet from the sliding glass patio door when the massive blast occurred.
“Our large sliding glass door immediately fell directly onto the crib,” he said. “In what can only be explained as a miracle, the door simply pushed the crib forward a few feet before collapsing on the floor.”
Miraculously, the baby was completely unharmed.
