Shliach Launches ’11 Nissan Challenge’ with $1000 Reward

As Chassidim look for meaningful ways to prepare for the Rebbe’s birthday, Rabbi Chaim Wolosow launches a challenge to learn one hour a day of the Rebbe’s Torah in the days leading up to 11 Nissan. Participants can win $1000 in Kehos.

As Yud Aleph Nissan approaches, Chassidim are looking for meaningful ways to mark the Rebbe’s birthday. This year, a new initiative is offering a simple but powerful path: learning the Rebbe’s Torah.

The Rebbe repeatedly emphasized that the strongest connection to him is forged through studying his teachings. For many, however, finding the time and consistency to learn can be a real challenge. Between busy schedules and daily responsibilities, even those with the best intentions often struggle to maintain a steady commitment.

The “11 Nissan Challenge” is designed to meet that challenge head-on.

Organized by Rabbi Chaim Wolosow of TorahRecordings.com, participants are encouraged to listen to 11 hours of the Rebbe’s Torah, broken down into just one hour a day from Rosh Chodesh Nissan through Yud Aleph Nissan. By presenting the goal in a clear and manageable way, the program makes it easier for people of all backgrounds to take part.

A wide range of options allows each person to choose what speaks to them. Participants can learn from Ma’amarim Melukotim, Likkutei Sichos, Igros Kodesh, and the Rebbe’s Haggadah.

All content is available through TorahRecordings.com, as well as on Spotify and the TorahRecordings app, allowing participants to learn wherever they are—during commutes, walks, or quiet moments throughout the day.

To encourage participation, those who complete the full 11 hours will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 seforim gift certificate from Kehot. Submissions can be made online, with the drawing scheduled for Yud Gimmel Nissan.

The challenge is dedicated in memory of Rabbi Levi Wolosow a”h, Levi Yitzchak ben Chaim Tzvi.
