Shaina Kohan, the six-year-old daughter of Rabbi Chai and Chanie Kohan, the shluchim in Jacksonville, Florida, tragically passed away on Wednesday night, 18 Elul, following an illness.

Shaina Kohan, the six-year-old daughter of Rabbi Chai and Chanie Kohan, the shluchim in Jacksonville, Florida, tragically passed away on Wednesday night, 18 Elul, following an illness.

Shaina was a student at the Cheder of Jacksonville, under the leadership of her grandparents, Rabbi Yossi and Rivkie Kahanov. She passed away after battling a serious illness for the past two years.

She is survived by her parents, Rabbi Chai and Chanie Kohan, and by her siblings, Moussia, Risa (her twin sister), Devorah Leah, Malka, and a newborn baby boy.
