Following the school closure around the United States and Israel due to the spread of Coronavirus, Chabad Mosdos in Montreal have announced a two-week closure of all educational facilities beginning Monday.
Based on government recommendation in collaboration with Rabbonim and health care professionals, Beth Rivkah Academy, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch boys’ school and the Yeshiva Zal will be closed as of Monday, 20 Adar/March 16, 2020.
In a letter to parents school directors wrote “The basic aim of the school closure is to minimize contact between people. This means that your children should not arrange play dates, and non-essential outings should be minimized.”
The school “will be in contact with all parents once a plan has been established for continued learning during this period”
“Elementary play practices and production are postponed. Any Bas Mitzvah celebration in Beth Rivkah has been canceled”
